First attempt!!

Ok, my first clay arrived yesterday but as my potter's wheel is out side the rain stopped play.
I built a few tools out of bamboo and plastic pipe and waited for a sunny day today, No chance, So I built a coiled pot( on the right) then a pinch pot (at the front). I tried out my cracking technique and started to get the feel of it. about 7.30 the rain was stopping so I ventured into the murky gloom and had my first go on a wheel.

My first 2 attempts went wobbly but the pot on the left was my 3rd go. And the cracks work.
Ok, they have to survive being fired then glazed but the idea is there. Quite pleased as no one has shown me how to throw a pot.
